The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites Certified General Contractors or Certified Building Contractors prequalified by the School Board, pursuant to SREF Chapter 4.1 prior to the Proposal Due Date, to submit a Proposal for: Construction management services for: facility renovations and repairs. Established GMP construction budget : $6,878,147.00. Selection committee meeting*: November 9, 2022 at 9:00 a.m., est. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide all Preconstruction Phase Services necessary to establish a GMP as well as all Construction Phase Services following the Award of the GMP for the school identified in this Project Notification. During the Architectural/Engineering Design Phase, the CONSTRUCTION MANAGER will be required to advise with the selection of the building systems and provide construction cost estimates for the Schematic, Design Development, and Construction Document phases. Also, update accordingly the construction schedule to be proposed for the construction phase, amongst other pre-design services as requested by the Owner. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide all Preconstruction Phase services necessary to establish a GMP as well as all Construction Phase services following the Award of the GMP for each school identified in this Project Notification. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER may be required to complete portions of the construction on an occupied campus as directed by the OWNER. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide deferred maintenance, renovation, and repairs to school facilities including, but not limited to, ADA and CSIR compliance requirements, renovation, and repair to school facilities including, but not limited to building envelope items such as exterior doors and windows, gutters and downspouts, water intrusion/waterproof applications, roof repairs & replacement, fire alarm panel upgrades, smoke & duct detector replacement, acoustical ceilings, HVAC system air handlers, sheet metal-ductwork/outside air dampers, parking lot paving & striping, outside scoreboard replacement, replace water fountains, boiler replacements in the kitchen and gymnasium, bleachers and scoreboard replacements, marquee repairs, and other work as may be required.
