Renovation of a municipal facility in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Replacement of unit substation with new padmount utility transformer, service entrance board and retrofitting of distribution sections. .2 Replacement of panels as indicated in documents c/w required handrail/wall modifications necessary for larger panels. .3 Supply of temporary generator for backup power to facility during building power shutdowns. The temporary generator is not intended to be used but must be on-site, tested and ready c/w required cabling. It will only be used if a problem occurs with the existing on-site generator that renders it unusable. The building will be running off of generator power during the removal of the existing substation and the installation of the new service entrance board. .4 Supply of refrigerated food storage truck for lengthy power outages and when panels feeding fridges/freezers are being replaced. To be coordinated with Owner with no exceptions. .5 Installation of infection control barriers where indicated for site completion of work. .6 The repair of damaged distribution feeders with in-line splices. .7 Provide back-up power/lighting as detailed during overnight shutdowns via portable generator sized to carry loads required.
