Renovation of a water / sewer project in Hayward, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Hayward Effluent Pump Station Pumps Replacement Project - The project consists of removal of four existing vertical propeller pumps and motors, extension of existing equipment pads, and installation of four new vertical propeller pumps and motors. The project consists mainly of the removal and replacement of four (4) existing vertical propeller pumps and motors. The project also consists of construction of four (4) equipment pads, anchoring of the new pumps, electrical connection of the new pumps, and testing and commissioning of the new pumps The Engineer's estimate is $380,000. Bids must be made on the bid forms included in the bid package. Notice is hereby given in accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 6610 The project contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, labor and material necessary to perform and complete in a good and workmanlike manner the Hayward Effluent Pump Station Pumps Replacement Project Number 2022-02 as shown in the project technical specifications and plans and in accordance with the contract documents within 425 calendar days of the project commencement date specified in the notice to proceed for the project. The project consists of removal of four existing vertical propeller pumps and motors, extension of existing equipment pads, and installation of four new vertical propeller pumps and motors. All of the project work is to be done in accordance with the bid package on file at the Authority's Office, 2651 Grant Avenue, San Lorenzo, California, 94580. Checks and money orders must be made payable to the East Bay Dischargers Authority. Cash will not be accepted. Bid packages will be mailed upon request and receipt of the non-refundable charge. Electronic copy in PDF format is available upon request by email to juanita@ebda.org. A Class A California contractor's license is required to bid on the project. Consistent with California Labor Code section 1771.1, Bidders and all proposed subcontractor(s) shall not be qualified to bid on, or be listed in a bid, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code or engage in the performance of any work under the contract here advertised for bids, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the California Labor Code. This requirement is subject to limited exceptions, only as provided in the California Labor Code. Bidders or subcontractor(s) may not be awarded the Contract unless registered as noted above. A successful Bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws applicable to the Project, and related requirements contained in the Contract Documents. Consistent with California Labor Code Section 1771.4(a)(1), Bidders are advised the project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any bid irregularities to the extent permitted by law.
