As of Dec 21 the project bid was not accepted and will be rebid next year. 2022 Generator Building Project No Proposal Will Be Considered Unless Accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check Drawn on a Solvent Bank Made Payable to the City of Fairlawn, Ohio, in an Amount Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Bidder's Proposal, Conditioned Upon Execution of the Contract and the Furnishing of a Performance Bond in the Event the Contract is Awarded to the Bidder. The Total Amount Indicated in the Bid Bond Shall Be Expressed as Dollars and Cents and Shall Include the Bid Including All Alternates Submitted Which Increase the Bid. The Bond Amount Shall Be Equal to or Exceed Ten Percent (10%) of This Total Amount. Bidders Must Comply With the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Summit County and the City of Fairlawn, Ohio as Determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. The Right is Reserved to Reject Any or All Proposals, to Waive Technicalities or to Advertise for New Proposals, if in the Judgment of the Awarding Authority the Best Interests of the City Will Be Promoted Thereby.
