The intent of this contract is to provide one (1) snow removal crew for the Suburban West Roads - Maple Grove Zone of the City on a "per location - call out basis", for snow removal of lanes. The City will typically call out the Contractor after a minimum 10cm snow accumulation in accordance with the City's Maintenance Quality Standards. The City may delay the commencement of snow removal operations to coincide with the City's Residential Roads plow run which routinely begins when snow accumulation stops. For example, if snow accumulation is forecasted to be greater than 10cms, the call out may be delayed until the end of the storm to coincide with the City's Residential Roads plow run. On average, the Contractor can expect five (5) to ten (10) call out events over the course of a typical winter season. The requirement will be for all snow to be removed from the identified roadways. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. Award subject to final approval.
