Renovation of a medical facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade medical facility.

The General Contractor (GC) must furnish all labor, materials, equipment and full time supervision for the Project location at 610 Bay Street, in accordance with the tender documents including any addenda issued during the time of bidding. The purpose of the project is to provide the City of Toronto with a new Interim Paramedic Services Station located at 610 Bay St. by strategically repurposing select areas of the site containing the former Greyhound Bus Terminal. The proposed project includes one large exterior area to house paramedic services' vehicles, and series of indoor spaces to house paramedic services staff areas including lounges, logistics & medical supplies, locker areas, and changerooms. The project has been approached in two phases: Phase 1: Includes the Ambulance Bays, Medical Corridor, Dispatch Building and select areas within the Terminal Lobby Phase 2: Includes the Lower Concourse Level* *Note that it is at the City's sole discretion to proceed with Phase 2 prior to the commencement of Phase 1, or during its construction. The City will notify the successful vendor if Phase 2 will not proceed as soon as a decision is made (prior to the commencement of Phase 2 construction). Commencement and Completion Dates: The start date of this Contract is immediately upon receipt of a purchase order, issued by the CoT Purchasing & Materials Management Division (PMMD). Award is conditional upon all approvals, bonding and insurance being in place. Continuous and progressive operation shall be carried out until work is completed. The Supplier is responsible to provide all the forces necessary to complete the entire contract work within the specified timeframe. Should any work be delayed for any reason other than what is permitted within the CoT Construction Agreement Contract then the GC shall not be entitled to any claims and will be subject to penalty via liquidated damages clauses noted within contract documents. The completion of Phase & Phase II is anticipated to be achieved 6-9 Months from the Commencement Date. Completion dates of the Contract may be extended subject to the required approvals being obtained in accordance with the applicable CoT Construction Agreement Contract clauses.
