SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL services within the boundary of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 238 of Sarpy County, Nebraska. At such hour, or as soon as practicable thereafter, the Engineer of the District will proceed to open in the presence of all bidders and consider the bids received for the furnishing of such labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the proper execution of SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL. The extent of the work consists of effectuation of curbside pickup and proper disposal of solid waste (which shall include domestic household waste, recyclable materials and yard waste) of all single-family residences located within the boundary of SID 238. There are currently 196 single family residences located within the boundary of SID 238. The Contract rate shall be expressed as a monthly cost per residence. The contract period shall be thirty-six (36) months after the date defined in the Notice to Proceed. In addition, the District will provide centralized waste collection on one day each spring for spring cleanup waste collection and disposal. The Engineer's estimate for furnishing all labor, equipment, payment of disposal fees and effectuation of all else necessary to provide such services for the contract period is $155,232.00. No Bid Bond or Bid Security shall be required. No bidder may withdraw its proposal for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Sanitary and Improvement District No. 238 of Sarpy County, Nebraska reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject all or any bids.
