Site work for a water / sewer project in Russellville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The contract involves the replacement of approximately 4,000 LF of waterlines along various city streets, replacement of approximately 600 LF of gravity sewer along East 2nd Street, plus other improvements and appurtenances, all in the city limits of Russellville (Logan County) in areas of Second, Seventh, Bethel, Edwards, & Bowden Streets. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. This project is being funded with City Reserves plus with Cleaner Water Program (CWP) grant funds administered through the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority (KIA). Applicable CWP requirements and provisions must be met by the Bidder and all subcontractors. All bidders shall submit with their bid an acceptable bid bond or a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Owner. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the date of the bid opening. The City of Russellville reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. Note that the OWNER reserves the right to award only a portion of the work, at the stated unit prices, due to limited funds available for the project.
