The City of Placerville is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering and design services. The services shall begin with preliminary engineering and environmental documentation; continue through the development of final contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E); and conclude with construction engineering support. The City expects the consultant to develop their own detailed scope of work and identify deliverables based on knowledge of City and Caltrans/LAPM procedures and understanding of the project. The scope of work, at a minimum, should include the tasks described in Attachment C. Proposers are expected to gain thorough knowledge of the project and exercise professional judgment in development of the scope of work that will deliver the project to construction.
