The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals for the purchase, installation, and configuration of an IP security camera system and associated cabling along with warranty and support of the camera system for the St. Joseph School District's buildings. The district intends to replace the current security camera system in these buildings with Axis cameras utilizing Milestone XProtect software. No substitutions will be considered. No camera brand on the current US government blacklist will be considered. The intent of this RFP is for the St. Joseph School District to obtain a turnkey, fully installed and configured camera system in the listed buildings, that will provide adequate coverage of both inside and outside areas of each building and will be able to identify individuals involved in security breaches, vandalism, or disciplinary situations. The solution should include transitioning from existing system to new system with minimal downtime. The project shall be bid for each building individually as well as a whole project so that the district can determine the number of buildings to move forward with based on cost. The district reserves the right to split the award or to make multiple awards, and to make award on a part or portion of a proposal.
