This Invitation to Tender (the "ITT") is an invitation by The Corporation of the Town of the Blue Mountains (the "Town") to prospective bidders to submit bids for Tomahawk Parks Operations Storage Structure Land Preparation, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The Town of The Blue Mountains (the Town) is seeking one (1) Contractor to prepare a 19,600 square foot area for a storage structure located behind the existing Parks and Trails Operation Centre which is located at 417222 10th Line in Town of The Blue Mountains. The Contractor is responsible for excavating approximately 19,600 square feet of material consisting of sod and sandy loam soil. The excavated material is to remain on site. Town staff will be responsible for marking out the area for excavation. There will be access on the site for the Contractor to move the equipment in and out of the site. The Contractor is to supply, deliver and compact an estimated quantity of 362 cubic yards of granular B gravel to the site. As well, the Contractor is to supply, deliver and compact an estimated quantity of 362 cubic yards of granular A gravel to the site. The Contractor is responsible for levelling the finished grade. The Contractor is to provide weigh bills for the quantity of granular material delivered to the site and will only be paid for the quantities delivered. The Town requires the work to be completed within 12 months of award.
