Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Chicago, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City is requesting SOI from engineering firms for Phase III construction engineering services for resurfacing of Technology Boulevard, which is an FAU Route 7260, between IL-38 (Roosevelt Road) to East Fabyan Parkway. The scope of the project includes pavement resurfacing, minor pavement patching, intermittent sidewalk curb ramp upgrades, spot drainage improvements (e.g. curb and gutter replacement), pavement markings, parkway restoration, and other miscellaneous items as required to complete the project. The City of West Chicago reserves the right to reject any statements or to waive any technicalities, discrepancies, or information in the request. The City does not discriminate in admission, access to, treatment, or employment in its programs and activities. It is the responsibility of the individual firms to meet all requirements of the bid documents. All general and technical questions regarding this Invitation and SOI requirements shall be submitted electronically in writing to Dave Shah at DShah@westchicago.org on or before 12:00 PM October 20, 2022.
