Demolition and site work for a multi-residential development in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; and 13,008-square-foot, two-story above grade multi-residential development.

Proposers shall submit a Lump Sum price proposal for both the BASE PROJECT and the ADDITIVE ALTERNATE PROJECT. Proposals that are submitted without a price proposal for both the BASE PROJECT and ADDITIVE ALTERNATE PROJECT will be rejected. Proposed Lump Sum prices shall include all costs associated with the removal and disposal, including labor, equipment, transportation, subcontracting costs, disposal fees, permits, etc. Award of ADDITIVE ALTERNATE PROJECT will be based on the availability of funding following the evaluation of proposals received. Contract Execution. Prosecution and Progress of the Work, and Payment Upon notification of acceptance of proposal by the City, the selected contractor shall furnish within seven (7) calendar days a Certificate of Liability Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 naming the City of Natchitoches as an additional insured. Contractor shall also furnish a Performance Bond in the amount equal to the value of the contract as awarded. Following contract execution, a Notice to Proceed will be issued, requiring work to begin within Fifteen (15) calendar days. Upon initiation of operations, the contractor shall prosecute all work to its timely completion without de-mobilizing from the project site. All work required under the BASE PROJECT shall be completed and ready for final acceptance within Thirty (30) calendar days, exclusive of adverse weather days. If the ADDITIVE ALTERNATE PROJECT is awarded, an additional Thirty (30) calendar days, exclusive of adverse weather days, will be allotted for completion of all work under this portion of the project. 1. Removal of the entirety of four two-story wood frame with brick veneer buildings and their contents, including overhanging timber walkways, stairways, railings, and other appurtenances, down to the top of the existing concrete slab of each building, and off-site disposal of the removed materials. Approximate area of the heated space portion of each building is as follows: Building No. 1-- 2,880 square feet Building No. 2 -- 2,880 square feet Building No. 3 -- 3,984 square feet Building No. 4 -- 3,264 square feet 2. Removal of the entirety of one 13' by 18' wood frame building on blocks and off-site disposal of removed materials. Failure to complete the work within the allotted time frame, after adjustment for adverse weather days, shall be cause for the assessment of stipulated damages at a cost of $100.00 per day.
