All bids shall be itemized and all signatures must include the corporate position of the signer. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the day set for the opening of bids. By making a Bid, each Bidder represents that they have read and understands the Bidding Documents and their Bid is made in accordance therewith, they have visited the Project Site and familiarized themselves with the obstacles and conditions as they exist and as they will be encountered during the execution of the work, and their Bid is based on the Drawings and Specification and all terms and conditions as described in the Bidding Documents without exception. The Bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form as included in Division 1 Bidding Documents. The construction schedule and phasing is included in Bid Documents. Questions will be accumulated and researched and answers will be distributed to all bidders with questions anonymously listed. Answers will be distributed via addendum. Bidders shall submit Bid in a sealed envelope and include on the face of the envelope Bidders name, address, and telephone number. Renovation of 6,900 SF, located on the first level of North Montgomery High School. Spaces included in the renovation are are part of K-12 facility, occupancy E, building type 2-B. Base bid includes demolition work and creation of Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Locker Rooms with attached Team Rooms and coaches' office and restrooms, as well as new Boys and Girls PE Locker Rooms with attached coaches' offices with shared restroom. Additional 5,600 SF of work indicated as alternates, refer to section 012300 for more information. Construction is a mostly comprised of interior CMU (4" and 8" thicknesses) and some interior metal stud framing in Varsity Team Rooms. New resinous flooring will be installed over existing floor, new ceilings installed throughout, paint and the installation of toilet and bath accessories in new locker room facilities. MEP work includes new and replaced plumbing fixtures, new and relocated light fixtures and electrical receptacles and small HVAC improvements. 1.
