Hillsboro R-III School District is requesting competitive proposals from vendors for New Central Office Parking Lots & Roadway. Proposal will comply with all federal, state and local regulations. Two bids: Bid 1: Is to prepare the parking lots & roadway to be ready to put a 4" asphalt top on; but it will not be at this time Bid 2: Is to bid only rock in to make the parking lots & roadways - Sub-base is main focus and contractor will need to provide details of layers - Bid 1 needs to be minimum of 12" and bid 2 8" depth will need to be consider - Usage of 14mm gravel chipping like flint, quartz or basalt is suggested for the topping -Proper drainage will be important so culvert will be need added prior to going onto/from Leon Hall Parkway - Bids will also include tree removal for the 30' wide roadway; overall wide of clearing will be 40' - Provide proof of appropriate insurance - Contractor shall provide detail, site-specific recommendations to achieve the work being required - Area must remain safe for personal in the area during work is being performed - Invoices will be paid after approved by the Board of Education
