City is inviting proposals from qualified consultants to provide on-call Architectural and Engineering Design Services for various capital improvement projects for public buildings, parks, mobile home park and recreational facilities. To be considered for this contract, your firm must meet the proposal and satisfy the requirements as stated in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The scope of work is to provide on-call architectural and engineering design services for various capital improvement projects for public buildings, parks, mobile home park and recreational facilities to the City of La Habra in accordance with all provisions within this RFP. The work may include but not limited to architectural, structural, civil, lighting, data/telecommunications, graphics, renovation of buildings and facilities, ADA design, geotechnical engineering, land survey, audio & visual, electronic security design, parking structure, knowledge of various state and federal codes, LEED requirements, maintenance facilities, mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP), HVAC, roofing, pergolas, park amenities, playgrounds, landscaping/irrigation, and concept drawings. All questions and/or inquiries regarding the RFP shall be submitted in writing on or before 3:00 P.M. on October 18, 2022, and directed to: Tony An, P.E., Principal Engineer tan@lahabraca.gov Notice to Proceed January, 2023 The services will be on as-needed basis. The term of the Agreement will be for two (2) years from the date of the contract execution. The City, at its discretion, can extend the term of the Agreement for one (1) additional year. It is anticipated that the Agreement resulting from this solicitation, if awarded, shall be for a total firm price "Not to Exceed" a budget contract of $250,000 per fiscal year, and based upon the total price of each of the tasks specified in "Scope of Work" of this RFP The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals, request additional information or revisions to the proposals, and to negotiate with any or all Consultants. Any contract award shall be to a firm that submits the most comprehensive and cost-effective proposal based on the City's evaluation The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
