The work consists of pavement patching and roadway resurfacing, selective curb and sidewalk replacement, the installation of sidewalk curb ramps, detectable warnings, pavement markings, detector loop replacement, pedestrian signal upgrades, sewer structure adjustments, landscape restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown within Pre-final Plans provided. The projected letting for this project is March 10, 2023 through IDOTs Bureau of Local Roads and Streets letting procedure with construction spring/summer of 2023. Elk Grove Village will use the following five items when developing the project description and may include additional items when unique circumstances exist. Describe in general terms the project need, purpose, and objective; Identify the various project components; Establish the desired timetable for the effort; Identify any expected problems; Determine the total project budget, if available. The Village of Elk Grove Village, (hereafter Village) is seeking Phase III Construction Engineering Services for the Devon Avenue at Busse Road Intersection Improvements. These engineering services may be funded through the Federal Surface Transportation 2 - Local Program (STP-L) and construction will be funded through STP-L; therefore, all work must be done in accordance with STP guidelines. The Consulting Engineer shall perform and carry out, in a professional and satisfactory manner, the engineering services necessary to complete the requirements included in the project. The Village shall provide a qualified Liaison Engineer to assist the Consultant with Village interpretations. The services to be provided related to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) are described in the Minimum Scope of Services section of this RFQ. All work must adhere to Village, Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), and Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (CCDOTH) standards as required. The Consulting Engineer shall have successfully completed a minimum of three projects of the same type and size to the Devon Avenue/Busse Road Intersection Improvements within the last five years. The proposed Project Manager shall have a minimum of five years of experience in Phase III Engineering on municipal and/or IDOT Bureau of Local Roads and Streets (BLRS) projects. A list of these projects along with a brief description of the services provided and the agency contact shall be included.
