Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in West Jefferson, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Single-prime lump sum bids will be taken for construction as indicated in the bidding documents. Proposals must be made on the standard form to be included in the Project Manual. This bid will include both projects. Mountain View Elementary School is located at 2789 NC Highway 221 North, in Jefferson, NC, 28640, and Blue Ridge Elementary School is located at 5778 NC Highway 88 West, in Warrensville NC, 28693. This will be a lump sum single prime formal bidding process, pursuant to NCGS 143-129, as the anticipated cost of this work is greater than $500,000. The laws of North Carolina and applicable regulations of various Licensing Boards, and historically under-utilized business provisions will be observed in receiving bids and awarding contracts. Bidders may submit questions directly to Troy Luttman via email at troy@luttmanarchitecture.com. Questions must be received in writing by 5:00 PM Monday, October 17, 2022. Any addenda will be issued no later than Friday, October 21, 2022, via email. To be notified via email of any addenda, send an email to Troy Luttman requesting to be placed on this project's notification list. Contact with any County staff or official regarding this project may disqualify a bid. Notice to Proceed n/a Wednesday, November 30, 2022 Construction Start On Sites June 8, 2023 Contract Completion On Sites August 11, 2023 (65 days)
