Request for Proposal (RFP) for PANHES-22-P-0000 001913 Ft Carson Gate 3 Active Vehicle Barrier Install - This project addresses improving security at Gate 3 at Ft Carson, CO by adding AVBs and its supporting infrastructure including electrical, overspeed detection, and wrong-way detection. The Gate was analyzed with multiple threat paths and scenarios, in accordance with Army Standards and UFC, in order to determine the location of the AVBs to defeat the threat and create enough time for non-threat vehicles to stop. The SDDCTEA Hybrid Beacon Safety System is being applied to Gate 3 which includes installing signs and signals. Utilities are required to support the AVBs and Safety System.
