Site work and paving for a civil project in West Rockhill Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Replacement of existing concrete/stone culvert with a precast concrete culvert on Schoolhouse Roads in Hilltown Township. All questions must be submitted thru the PennBid system to receive a response. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE - 10/21/2022 Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township (electronically) and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township; and non-collusion affidavit. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds, in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Township. Bidder shall verify compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act (E-verify program). Attention is called to the fact that the Prevailing Wage Act 442 does apply, and the successful bidder shall pay no less than the prevailing wage rates determined for the project area as set forth in the project documents. Accompanying this proposal is a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid made payable to the municipality as a proposal guarantee which, it is understood, will be forfeited in case the contractor fails to comply with the requirements of the proposal. Payment and Performance bonds are provided only by the successful bidder. Contracts under $5,000-bonds must be in 50% of the contract amount. Contracts in excess of $5,000 - bonds must be in 100% of the amount of contract. Bond Forms MS-944 (Performance and Payment Bonds) and Workmens Compensation Affidavit must be submitted by the successful bidder within 14 days of the contract award. Failure to submit the bonds shall constitute grounds to cancel the contract. Proposal shall be subject to provisions of the Pennsylvania Wage Act 442, as amended. Not less that prevailing minimum wage rates. As contained in the attached Prevailing Wage Predetermination, Serial Number #22- 07629 shall be paid by contractors and subcontractors to all workmen in their respective crafts and classifications. Award of Contract, if Contract is awarded, will be based on the Total Bid at the sole discretion of the Township; and will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Hilltown Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
