Renovation of a fire / police facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of restoration of water damaged rooms within the Forensic Services Unit in Winnipeg Police Service Headquarters. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Repair/replace drywall walls and ceilings removed by mould abatement (by others). Match colour and finish as per existing. (b) Remove/replace all damaged and missing t-bar ceiling grid as a result of water damage or removed by mould remediation. (c) Rust to be removed from existing doors and frames. Existing kickplates, door bottoms, door closures and related accessories to be replaced and match existing. (d) Repaint existing doors and frames as noted. Colour to match existing. (e) Repair existing epoxy base as required. Colour and texture to match existing. (f) Prior to mould abatement (by others) mechanical and electrical devises and equipment to be disconnected, cleaned and reinstalled as part of the remediation. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. awrd is subject to final approval.
