The Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking roofing services at its Prado Conservation Camp, located in San Bernardino County Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, and fees necessary to demolish, dispose of, and install approximately 10,000 square feet (SF) of metal roofing, install approximately 1,500 square feet of metal soffit, and install approximately 480 linear feet (LF) of rain gutter and requisite downspouts, for one (1) building at CAL FIRE's Prado Conservation Camp. All questions should be emailed in writing to Sarah.Best@fire.ca.gov The Prime Bidder must be a licensed contractor with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB), with an active C-39 Roofing and/or C-43 Sheet Metal Contractor license. Proof of current licensing must be submitted with bid packages. Prime bidder is responsible for ensuring all subcontractors are appropriately licensed for the discipline/trade provided on behalf of this Agreement. The Prime Bidder must provide a security deposit in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the bid; security deposit to be in the form of a bidder's bond For all contracts exceeding $10,000, Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond on a standard bond company form, in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price For all contracts exceeding $25,000, Contractor shall furnish a Payment Bond on form STD. 807 in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The awarding agency reserves the right to reject all bids. The agency is not required to award an agreement.
