This invitation to tender consists of the supply and delivery of steel reinforced bearings and tapered steel plates as indicated in the drawings, hereafter referred to as bearing assemblies for the Department of Transportation & Infrastructure, Design Branch. The contract will be awarded to the lowest compliant bid which meets the technical requirements detailed within the attached specifications. This tender is to be awarded to one(1) vendor who is capable of meeting all requirements and specifications detailed in the ITT. Prior to contract award, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure may consult with other owners, as well as other departments and agencies of the Province of New Brunswick, to collect information about the vendor's previous product performance over the preceding five (5) years. The vendor's proposal shall be disqualified if the results of the aforementioned consultations are unsatisfactory to the Department in its sole and absolute discretion. All inquiries should be received seven (7) calendar days prior to the closing date; any inquiries received less than 7 calendar days prior to the closing date cannot be guaranteed a response.
