Contractor agrees to provide drinking water sampling and testing to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), as described herein: Contractor shall furnish all labor, testing equipment, materials, travel, and incidentals necessary, to complete analytical sampling and testing of various water samples on both an as needed and scheduled water testing basis in Shasta, Siskiyou, Lassen, Plumas, and Tehama Counties.

Questions regarding this IFB must be submitted in writing by January 31, 2023. Bidders are encouraged to submit their written questions via e-mail to angelica.santillan@dot.ca.gov. SB Preference will be granted on this IFB. Only firms certified as a Small Business or Micro Business with the Department of General Services (DGS), Office of Small Business and DVBE Service (OSDS) or contractors who commit to subcontracting a minimum of 25 percent (25%) of their net bid price to SB or MB, in the categories most appropriate to accomplish the prescribed services, will be granted this preference. This Agreement will commence on March 1, 2023 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement will expire on February 28, 2026 (estimate).
