This is a prevailing wage project. Replace existing Lawlor Events Center 25kV feeder with new feeder. Remove PMS 25-9 and replace PMS 25-8 with a single larger switch and connect to Sports Medicine, East Stadium Lighting and substation transformer. Estimated Cost Range: $300,000 - $400,000 Liquidated Damages: $500/day All personnel installing 25kV terminations shall be certified to perform the work. Proof of certification is required to be submitted to UNR. Work on Lawlor Events feeder will not be available to complete until after basketball season in March 2023. The contractor will be responsible for back up generator and fuel for Sports Medicine Building during rework of North Substation. Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Builders Risk Insurance will be required. Please refer to the TEMPLATE-Owner-Contractor Construction Agreement on the Attachments tab for limits and additional information. Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on "November 28, 2022" and shall be fully complete by "June 2, 2023." Termination & splices of medium voltage conductors. 6. Electrical Systems testing and commissioning.
