Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project provides emergency erosion control mitigation measures to protect and repair damaged streets & right-of-way from further storm damage, as needed. These conditions of damaged streets during rain events are a threat to public safety. The implementation of erosion control measures will assist in safe passage to pedestrians and use of roadway, as well as to reduce further deterioration of the damage. The work will consist of the placement of sandbags, installation of asphalt concrete (AC) berm, Portland-cement curb and gutter, AC paving, construction of pipe and board structures, and removal and haul away of soil, rock, weathered bedrock, and construction debris.
