Project Description: The proposed 467 West Avenue Utility Infrastructure Upgrade project, being funded by the State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, is a Utility Infrastructure Upgrade project that includes work to be done on West Avenue, Orchard Street, Quincy Street, Butler Street and Maple Street to upgrade infrastructure related to storm drainage connections and structures as well as conduits to facilitate the removal of the overhead telephone, electric and cable wires. The work also includes the installation of Historic Street lights related to previously installed infrastructure on Orchard Street an Quincy Street. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements.
