RFQ D/B - Qualified List for City Hall Phase I Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 0.00% Pre-Bid Meeting No Q&A Deadline 10/22/2022 2:25 PM (PDT) City of Fontana is accepting Statements of Qualifications from qualified Design-Build Entities to provide Design-Build Services for a proposed two level, design-build City Hall Annex Building. The proposed Project is to be constructed within the existing Fire Administration Building located at 17001 Upland Avenue, Fontana, CA 92335 (Reference Exhibit "A" Vicinity Map), and shall consist of demolishing the existing one-story building, and constructing a two-story municipal building with first tier parking structure and second tier office spaces. Each tier will have a footprint of approximately 30,000 square feet with one vehicle entrance and exit located on Upland Ave. just west of Wheeler Ave. The City anticipates 65 parking spaces to be within the parking structure portion of the building. The intent of the building is to serve as office space for city staff as well as both public and employee parking for the civic campus. The total estimated construction costs for planned projects is approximately $20 million. The building will not be considered an Essential Services Building. Type of Award Lump Sum To be prequalified, DB-Entities must include a prime contractor who possesses a valid California General Building Contractor (B) license, a design member who possesses a valid California Architect's license, and a design member who possesses a valid California Registered Civil's or Structural Engineer's license. Upon final selection, a short list from qualified entities will be determined. The City will then issue a Request for Proposals and select a Design-Build Entity for the Project in accordance with Section 22164 et seq. of the California Public Contract Code. Construction - Nov. 2023 through Aug. 2024 Close Out- Aug. 2024 through Nov. 2024 Response Format Electronic Project Type RFQual (Request for Qualification) Response Types Response File File No. 2 Contractor Financial Questionnaire (required) The Prime Contractors shall list references for the number of projects in which meet the requirements (Min. 3 projects; Min. $35,000,000) and does not necessarily need to list all projects completed within he past 4 years.
