The City of Deerfield Beach is soliciting sealed responses from qualified and experienced vendors to provide Citywide Landscaping and Irrigation Maintenance Services in accordance with the terms, conditions, scope of services, exhibits and map of the mentioned formal competitive solicitation. The City reserves the right to renew the contract for three (3) additional (1) year renewal terms providing all terms conditions and specifications remain the same, both parties agree to the renewal, and such renewal is approved by the City Manager. The City Manager shall execute any renewal contract. (b) Contract Extension - In the event services are scheduled to end because of the expiration of the contract, the Contractor shall continue the service upon the request of the City Manager or designee. The extension period shall not extend for more than one hundred eighty (180) days beyond the expiration date of the existing contract. The Proposer shall be compensated for the service at the rate in effect when this extension clause is invoked by the City.
