Site work for a water / sewer project in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Contract work consists of the following repairs to the Jumbo Class ferry M.V. Spokane: drydock the vessel for U.S. Coast Guard Credit drydocking; fuel tank cleaning; anode renewal; fuel tank top steel repairs; vehicle deck steel repairs; propeller inspections; water jet vehicle deck sprinkler piping; sewage piping repairs; sewage tank cleaning; rudder inspection and repair; grit blast U/W hull; hull preservation; bilge preservation, hatch replacement; galley deck renewal and other miscellaneous work as required and other related maintenance work as specified in the IFB Technical Specifications. The vessel is 440'0'' x 87'0" and carries 188 vehicles and 2,000 passengers. All of the work must be performed during the period of January 2 - March 1, 2023. Once WSF awards this Contract, WSF will issue an IFB and negotiate a separate state-funded single-source contract with the shipyard that is awarded this Contract, for the installation on the M.V. Spokane of certain equipment, including an air conditioning unit and shaft seals. The performance period for such work will fall within the shipyard period for this Contract Bidders must be prequalified by WSF in Class 82 work, " Vessel Drydocking & Hull Repairs" prior to the bid due date Certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) are encouraged to participate in the IFB process. Additionally, this Contract may be partially funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). If the vessel is to be transported outside Puget Sound or its contiguous waters to perform the work, the vessel must be transported by heavy lift craft both directions. NO OPEN OCEAN tows, or selfpropelled transits, will be permitted under any circumstance *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
