Demolition and site work for a residential development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Question Deadline 10/19/2022 at 3:00 PM ET City Responses to Proposers questions 10.21.22 4:00 PM. Upon review of the BID documents, Proposers may have questions to clarify or interpret the BID in order to submit the best proposal possible. To accommodate the Proposal Questions process, Proposers shall submit any such questions by the above Proposers Written Questions due date. The Contractor will furnish all material, labor, machinery, tools, equipment and services, and will perform and complete all work in an efficient workmanlike and timely manner. The City may choose to extend this contract for additional term should the contractors performance warrant an extension. The City reserves the right to reject all Bids received or to negotiate the terms of the agreement so as to best serve the interest of the City of Raleigh. The successful Contractor must furnish the City of Raleigh a Certificate of Insurance before the contract is awarded. This certificate should show current coverage in force specifically covering the Demolition of 2000 Hawkins St. Coverage must remain in force from initiation of RFB doing process through completion of the work. The City of Raleigh should be listed as an additional insured in the certificate description. The City of Raleigh considers RFBs received to be valid and submitted in good faith. Withdrawal due to errors in calculations or other factors may be reason to remove the Contractor from the City of Raleighs vendors list for a period of up to six months. A second occurrence of withdrawal by the same vendor may be grounds for permanent removal of that Contractor from the City of Raleighs vendor list. A copy of City of Raleigh License must be filed with the City of Raleigh Inspections/Housing Department prior to awarding this contract. The Housing and Neighborhoods Department, Community and Small Business Development Division is focused on increasing the supply of affordable housing options to the Citizens of the City of Raleigh. The subject property is being demolished to make way for future development. The scope of the work covered in this request for bid is expected to be completed between October 2022 and December 2022. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
