A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Question Deadline 10/13/2023 The work to be performed under Contract No. P100.654, which is expected to be awarded at the Authority’s December 2023 Commission Meeting, will consist of repairing deck spalls; repairing and reconstructing deck joints; replacing headers; removing asphalt surfacing; placing new membrane waterproofing; resurfacing approach roadways and bridge decks; pavement striping; substructure repairs; structural steel repairs; concrete beam repairs; temporary stringer support; bearing replacement; erosion and drainage repairs; sidewalk and parapet repairs; bridge fence removal and replacement; repointing of stone masonry; emergency and routine bridge repairs under cost plus compensation; all necessary traffic control, utility coordination, and local agency coordination; other incidental work on various structures; and all other work required in the successful prosecution of the work along the Garden State Parkway from Milepost 126 to 172 in Middlesex, Union, Essex, Passaic, and Bergen Counties, New Jersey. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or to negotiate with any proposer, to waive minor noncompliance, amend or supplement the RFEOI, re-advertise the RFEOI, or abandon a procurement, and/or take such other steps deemed necessary and in the best interest of the Authority, in accordance with applicable law The Authority is seeking participation of Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) as subconsultants to the Qualified Firm that is awarded a contract under this RFEOI (the “Successful Qualified Firm”). The SBE project goal is 25%. The Authority has also adopted a Disabled Veteran Owned Business (DVOB) Enterprise Program (the “DVOB Program”) pursuant to which the Success Qualified Firm must make a good faith effort to award at least three (3) percent of the assignment to DVOBs, all as more fully described in this RFEOI.
