Furnish various overhead pole mount transformers. The Town of Front Royal is soliciting Invitation For Bids, competitive sealed bids to secure a vendor(s) to furnish various overhead pole mount transformers for the Department of Energy Services. In the event that the Town of Front Royal offices are closed due to inclement weather and/or emergency situations prior to or at the time set aside for receipt of this proposal, the published due date will default to the next open business day at the same time. To be considered, your bid shall be submitted on a copy of the BID FORM, signed by a representative authorized to bind the Bidder in the matter, dated and shall be received at the Town of Front Royal Purchasing Department, prior to the date and time stated. There will be no pre-bid conference. Contact with other Town employees regarding this IFB is prohibited without prior consent. Upon acceptance and execution of a contract, the successful Bidder shall, within six weeks, furnish to the Engineer for approval two (2) sets of drawings and instructions covering the physical size, weight, arrangement, dimensions, electrical characteristics, wiring diagrams and other pertinent data for the transformers. The Bidder shall also supply to the Engineer four (4) prints of the finally approved issue of each drawing for use in the field and for the Purchaser's records. The Bidder shall also supply to the Engineer four (4) sets of written instructions and renewal parts lists, suitably illustrated, covering the operation and maintenance of the equipment furnished. State Corporation Commission (SCC) registration requirements effective July 1, 2010 require that your proposal include the identification number issued by the State Corporation Commission as proof of registration or justification for non-registration, per the requirements in Sections 6.31 and 9.21. Please complete this Proof of Authority to Transact Business in Virginia form and submit it with your proposal. Failure to provide this information or providing inaccurate or purged information shall result in your proposal being rejected.
