The required work will generally consist of the construction of a new restroom, containing approximately 575 sq. ft. Construction will include, concrete foundations, masonry bearing walls, on grade concrete slab, steel framing, concrete floor slab, steel roofing; mechanical (plumbing and HVAC) systems; and electrical systems, 10 feet wide concrete sidewalk, water lines, lights, storm drainage, trees, landscaping; and associated work. One itemized bid (shall be based on field installed quantities) is being requested as part of this solicitation, ITB No. 23-09-33, in accordance with the Contract Documents as prepared by or for the Office of the City Engineer, Roanoke, Virginia . The project is located at 304 Reserve Avenue, SW, Tax map No. 1040202, Roanoke, Virginia.. The time of receipt shall be determined by the purchasing official who is to open the Bids. Pursuant to Section 2.2 - 4330 (B)(1), the bidder shall give notice in writing and shall submit the original work papers with such notice to the City of its claim of right to withdraw the bid within two (2) business days after the opening of bids.
