Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,590-square-foot multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.

Construction of Two - 2,295 SF (Approximate SF Living Space) wood framed/concrete slab duplex structures built per the plans and specifications. Selection will be based on a firm's bid, ability to work with the Tribe, and experience of similar projects. The Wyandotte Nation is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of Two (2) Duplex Buildings (Four total dwelling units), funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Professional contractors for consideration must be able to provide liability insurance, workman's comp. and subscribe to federal requirements regarding labor. The following scoring shall apply: Cost: 25 pts; Experience: 25 pts; Ability to meet schedule: 15 pts; Past performance: 20 pts; Native American 15 pts; Total: 100 pts. The United States Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) and the Wyandotte Nation have determined that the above request for proposals are subject to Section 7 (b) of the Indian Self Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C. Section 450e (b). Section 7 (b) provides that any contract, subcontract, grant, or sub-grant pursuant to any act authorizing grants to Indian organization or for the benefit of Indians shall require that to the greatest extent feasible: Preference and opportunities for training and employment shall be given to Indians; and Preference in award of contracts and subcontracts shall be given to Indian organizations and Indian-owned economic enterprises as defined in section 3 of the Indian Financing Act of 1974 (25 U.S.C. 1452). Any application seeking to qualify for the above preference in the award of this contract must submit to the Wyandotte Nation proof of Indian Ownership. Such proof may include, but is not limited to: Certification by a federally recognized Indian tribe or other evidence that the applicant is a tribal member and therefore eligible to receive preference. The Wyandotte Nation shall accept the certification of a tribe (such as TERO) and that the individual is a member. Evidence such as majority stock ownership, structure, management control financing and salary or profit sharing arrangements of the enterprise. The Wyandotte Nation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates, as required by law, applicable to this project.
