The work consists of remove existing shingles down to the deck and re-attach loose deck boards and replace any rotter decking. Please specify a cost per sheet price, and a maximum of 3 sheets in the proposal. Any additional replacement will be paid separate from the contracted price. Replace plumbing vent boots and seal around roof ventilation. Install GAF starter shingles on gutter lines and rake edges. Install Synthetic underlayment and re-roof with GAF Timberline HDZ Charcoal. Use 1.25 roofing nails per specification. Install GAF Cobra ridge vent with manufacturer approved fasteners. Remove any, and all job related debris from worksite. All interested contractors will need to schedule an appointment to measure the roof. The times we are allowing to schedule are Monday through Thursday. Proposal received after the time and date set for receipt of proposals shall be returned unopened to the bidder. It shall be the bidders responsibility to ensure timely receipt by the City of their proposals. Proposals must be submitted by the closing date, or prior to the time Specified, to be considered. Telegraphic, telephone or facsimile proposals will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals.
