Renovation of a water / sewer project in Strongsville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Questions deadline: 10/26/22 at 12:00 PM City of Strongsville Westwood Lift Station Rehabilitation Project This Project consists of replacing raw sewerage pumps, process piping and valves, and raw wastewater grinder. Electrical improvements include new power distribution equipment, emergency power system and pump station controls. Additionally, building improvements include a new wet-well stair access, man-doors, brickwork, and new HVAC systems. Improvements and all related items are located at: Westwood Lift Station 14600 Westwood Drive, Strongsville, Ohio 44136 Each BID must contain the full name or names of the interested parties, and in the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio, and be accompanied by a certified check on a solvent bank or bid bond made payable to the order of the City of Strongsville, Ohio, in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The BID check or BID bond, as the case may be, will be held as a guarantee that, if the BID proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into between the bidder and the City of Strongsville, Ohio. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than ms consultants, inc. Each bidder must be a registered plan holder with ms consultants, inc. to be eligible to submit a bid for this project. Bidders must use the forms of proposal available as aforesaid, as none other will be accepted. A Bidder/Contractor will be deemed committed to the Department of Labor's goals and timetables for the Cleveland, Ohio area as specified in the Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246) by submitting a properly signed bids. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, gender, religion or national origin. The Council of the City of Strongsville, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or minor defects in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable to the City. The City of Strongsville is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
