As of 11/14/2023 Bids rejected. The Scope of Work consists of the complete replacement of the fire alarm system at Green Run High School including the graphic annunciator. The School Board of the City of Virginia Beach, Owner Sealed bids for GREEN RUN HS FIRE ALARM REPLACEMENT for the School Board of the City of Virginia Beach will be received by utilizing the e-bidding feature through demandstar.com until 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time on Wednesday, November 7, 2023. The submitted bids shall be publicly announced via Zoom on Wednesday, November 7th at 2:05 p.m. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. Unless canceled or rejected, a responsive bid from the lowest responsible bidder shall be accepted as submitted, except that if the bid from the lowest responsible bidder exceeds available funds, the Owner may negotiate with the apparent low bidder to obtain a contract price within available funds, as authorized by Section 2.2-4318 of the Code of Virginia.
