Site work for a water / sewer project in Commerce City, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Denver Water (Owner) is soliciting proposals for design engineering services for the design phase of the Hazeltine Spillway Project. The Hazeltine embankment is at risk of overtopping damage and possible failure during a flood event from the adjacent South Platte River. The design phase will begin in Q4 2022 and construction will occur in 2023 and 2024. Design Phase services will include performing a geotechnical investigation, establishing design criteria, providing permitting support, preparing plans and specifications, providing opinion of probable construction cost estimates, and providing bidding support. Any requests for clarification or additional information regarding the submission of this RFP shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to brad.piede@denverwater.org, or during the Pre-Proposal Meeting that will be held on October 12, 2022 at the North Complex Headquarters at 10815 Brighton Rd, Henderson, CO 80640. Written requests for interpretation, clarification, and/or additional information must be received no later than 4:00 pm, local time, October 20, 2022. October 23, 2023 Start Construction April 30, 2024 Construction Complete The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
