Reference number : 1649850 Review Title : For the removal, transport and collection of household garbage, large scrap and recyclable materials Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-10-24 Submission sent electronically accepted: No Options related to this notice: This notice includes renewal options (2 additional years conditional on the state of operation of the Government of Quebec solution) PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned, Stéphane Chagnon, Director General and Clerk-Treasurer of the Municipality of Saint-Épiphane to the effect: THATThese years of renewal are mainly to allow municipalities to have sufficient leeway in the event that the full deployment of the modernized selective collection system using an EPR approach does not go as planned. The years of renewal are to be considered for each type of collection taken separately or combined (residual materials and recycling). THAT in the event that a bid is retained by the Municipality of Saint-Épiphane, seven (7) contracts will be awarded, one per municipality. THAT the tender documents as well as any additional document related thereto can only be obtained through the electronic tendering system at www.seao.ca as of October 7, 2022. The documents can be obtained at a cost determined by them. THAT any bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check payable to the Municipality of Saint-Épiphane or a bid bond valid for a period of ninety (90 ) days, representing at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the tender, including taxes, as well as a letter of intent to issue a performance bond in the value of twenty percent (20%) of the total amount of the bid, including taxes; this performance guarantee must be awarded to each of the municipalities on a pro rata basis of its contract when the contract has been awarded. The amounts of the aforementioned guarantees will be determined by virtue of the calculation formulas detailed in articles 3.9.1 and 3.9. THAT only bonds issued by insurance companies, within the meaning of the Insurance Act, and recognized by the Autorité des marchés financiers du Québec, will be accepted at the end of the tender documents. THAT the Municipality of Saint-Épiphane does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received and will in no way be liable for any damage, loss or prejudice of any nature whatsoever that may occur to the tenderer. In accordance with the will of all the member municipalities of the group, the acceptance of a tender by the Municipality of Saint-Épiphane also binds the municipalities of L'Isle-Verte, Saint-Arsène, Saint-Cyprien, Saint-Hubert-de -Rivière-du-Loup, Notre-Dame-du-Portage and Saint-Modeste to the tenderer.
