Gumbes Road Culvert Replacement Project - 4865660

Site work and paving for a civil project in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project includes providing all labor, materials and equipment to complete the removal and disposal of the existing 36" concrete pipe culvert and replacing it with 72 linear feet of 60" Reinforced Concrete Pipe with Double Wing Headwalls, guiderail improvements, rip rap embankment protection, and roadway resurfacing located in Gumbes Road. The project will also include diverting the existing stream around the work area, installing and maintaining erosion and sediment controls, providing maintenance and protection of traffic and restoration of all areas disturbed during the construction of the project. Clarification Deadline: 11/10/2022 12:00 PM. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Waiver of Lien. The right is reserved to waive any informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. The work in this contract shall be paid for in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442).
