The park is a two-time recipient of the "Fields of Excellence" award for its maintained fields and beautiful landscape that surrounds the park, which includes sparkling Lake Jesup and a natural trail. The City of Winter Springs is working toward further developing Central Winds Park with the Lake Jesup Overlook project. The Winter Springs Pickleball Courts project is a 10.13-acre property located in the western limits of Central Winds Park, immediately adjacent to Hicks Avenue. The proposed development will consist of pickleball courts in addition to associated surface parking and infrastructure. Bids are requested for pickleball court site work, construction of a parking lot, and construction of storm water infrastructure for the Pickleball Courts project. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts of bids, waive minor informalities, and to request clarification of information from any bidder.
