This contract is for pavement patching and repair of various streets and locations within the City of Raleigh. Estimated locations have been provided as an attachment, within this contract. Locations may be added or deleted by the City as deemed necessary. For additional information, contact Daniel Callahan 919-996-2354 In review of the Bid, Vendors may have questions to clarify or interpret the bid to submit the best bid possible. To accommodate the bid questions process, Vendors shall submit any such questions by November 4, 2022 @ 2:00 p.m. The City will not entertain any further questions after the question deadline. Send your questions via email to: Daniel.Callahan@raleighnc.gov with the bid number in the subject line of your email. The City will answer all questions in addenda to the bid and post on the IPS website. No proposal will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing, the same shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashiers check, or certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC and authorized to do business in North Carolina in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. In the alternative, a five percent (5%) bid bond issued by a corporate surety licensed by the State of North Carolina may be filed with the proposal. Bidders must be properly licensed as Unclassified or Highway under Chapter 87 of the General Statutes of North Carolina and must comply with nondiscrimination provisions.
