All hardware to be provided by the contractor Questions Deadline August 23, 2023 2.2.9.7 Workforce Participation Goal: 30% 2.2.9.8 M/WBE Participation Goal: 30% Brooklyn Bridge Park is an eighty-five (85) acre waterfront park in Brooklyn, NY. The Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation is seeking an experienced carpentry contractor to replace the existing wood decking at the Fulton Ferry Landing, located at the intersections of Old Fulton Street and Furman Street. The landing serves as the Dumbo/Fulton Ferry stop for the NYC Ferry system, which is operated and maintained by the New York City Economic Corporation. There is active pedestrian traffic 7 days a week, due to commuters and tourists accessing the NYC Ferry. Therefore, the contractor is required to maintain safe pedestrian access to and from the ferry vessel during all phases of work. NYC Ferry hours of operation are from 6:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. SCOPE OF SERVICES The following Scope of Services is to be provided by the GC. The GC understands this list is not exhaustive and othertasks may be required at no additional cost. The contract will take precedence in the event of a discrepancy. The Fulton Ferry Landing is located at the intersection of Old Fulton Street and Furman Street in Brooklyn, NY. This project requires the contractor to install approximately 5,500 square feet of decking, including subframe and footings at the ferry landing with BBP-provided thermally modified white ash decking. The wood decking sits on the landing's concrete slab. All hardware is to be provided by the GC as well as lumber for the subframe The landing also serves two BBP concessionaires. The concession currently located within the landing footprint, Hight Tide, consists of an open-air bar with seating, including a shade canopy structure. High Tide will be closed during decking replacements. All High Tide infrastructure on top of phase 2B (See Exhibit 7 - Fulton Ferry Landing Site Plans) will be removed prior to GC mobilization. The second BBP concessionaire is Van Leeuwen Ice Cream shop located adjacent to the bar within the Historic Fireboat House. The shop's main entrance is located within the landing footprint. Van Leeuwen will be open during the construction term. Van Leeuwen's main entrance is on the west side of the building and conflicts with phase 2B. However, Van Leeuwen will be able to utilize an alternate door on the south side of the building during construction
