The Schuylkill Conservation District (SCD) is requesting bids for the construction of the Swope Valley Run Streambank Stabilization Project (Project) funded through a County Action Plan Implementation Grant. Bids will be accepted for construction of streambank stabilization along Swope Valley Run in Pine Grove Township near Pine Grove, Schuylkill County, PA. Bids will be accepted for the streambank sloping and installation of rip-rap along approximately 305 linear feet of the Swope Valley Run. The scope of the Project is subject to change related to field conditions, time and funding availability All questions related to the bid package should be directed to Bill Reichert at wreichert@co. schuylkill.pa.us. Contractors are required to address all conditions of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Emergency Permit. Project start date is expected on December 12, 2022 and must be completed by the close of business January 20, 2023.
