Project summary description: This project adds a new material lift on the exterior of the north side of the Manor House, a new exterior cooler, freezer, a new aluminum covered walkway, sitework, and relocation of mechanical and electrical equipment. Work in the kitchen is limited to making the new opening for the material lift. Some alteration of existing stonework will be a part of this work. Forsyth County reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any or all bids. Contractors must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes to bid and perform the work described herein as the general contractor. The purpose of this conference is to explain the scope of work involved in this project and to give prospective bidders the opportunity to observe the existing conditions. Staff will be present to answer technical questions about the work. Interested subcontractors are welcome to attend this conference. Forsyth County will not consider bids from prime bidders who do not have a representative attend this mandatory conference *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The range for this project is between $200,000 and $300,000.
