This project provides for the construction of snow gates with luminaires on Camano Island, Washington by placing snow gate structures with attached luminaires, new conduit, meter bases, flashers, conductors and other work, at seven (7) different locations as indicated in the plans set all in accordance with the Contract Provisions, Contract Plans, and the 2022 WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. The project is estimated to cost in the range of $350,000 to $450,000. Please note the required time of completion in Section 1-08.5 of the Special Provisions of the bidding documents. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. A 5% bid security bond is required. No verbal answer by any County personnel or its agents and consultants will be binding on the County. All inquiries must be received by the County a minimum of four business days prior to the bid opening date. There is no pre-bid conference or site tour scheduled. Island County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding. All Bidders must meet the mandatory bidder responsibility criteria set forth in RCW 39.04.350(1). Bidders must also meet supplemental bidder responsibility criteria as set out in the bidding documents and Contract Provisions. See the bidding documents for further information. BID BOND: All proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Contract Provisions, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Island County.
