Alvin High School Charles McCauley Exterior Stair Replacement. The work in this project includes the replacement of two exterior stairs and railings at the Charles McCauley building on the campus of Alvin High School, Alvin, TX. The existing stairs will be carefully removed and replaced without damage to the existing surrounding masonry. The work will take place during the summer break 2023. The District will receive, publicly open, and read aloud the names and proposal amounts of all Competitive Sealed Proposals. After the date of opening the Competitive Sealed Proposals, the District will evaluate and rank each submission in relation to the criteria set forth in the Project Specifications. The final selection of a Contractor for this project will be based on a combined evaluation of qualifications and cost of services to determine the best value to the District. The District reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all Proposals. By submitting a proposal, the Proposer agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Architect and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any proposal; waiver of any requirements under the Proposal Request and Qualification Submittal; and acceptance or rejection of any proposals; and award of the Contract.
