Request For Proposals: Post Fire Biomass Removal Lassen Fire Safe Council, Inc. is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified Licensed Timber Operators to perform work on forest restoration projects on private timberlands that were burned in the Hog, Sheep, and Dixie Fires. Project implementation is expected in 2022-2024 in Lassen and Plumas Counties. Project work will involve mechanical tree felling, skidding, decking, chipping, and hauling of material to biomass utilization facilities. For proposal requirements contact Lassen Fire Safe Council at (530) 251-5560 or email at cade@lassenfiresafecouncil.org . Once contacted information on a pre-bid tour will be provided. Bids will be accepted only from those contractors who have a proven record of ability to successfully complete the scope of work being bid and have valid required insurances and licenses in effect at the time of bid submission. Consideration will be given to such matters as contractor integrity, compliance with public policy, record of past performance and financial and technical resources in awarding contracts. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
