Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Fayette Street Pedestrian Crossings Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. This project consists of designing and constructing intersection, traffic signal, and pedestrian improvements in accordance with the project plans and in accordance with the most recent PENNDOT Standard Drawings including all necessary appurtenant work and materials necessary to complete the work indicated. Bids must also be submitted through the PennBid system All prospective bidders are hereby notified that the Contract awarded for the Project will require that prime contractors and subcontractors comply with certain federal and state statutory and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, the following: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates. The Project requires all prime contractors and subcontractors to pay all laborers and mechanics employed on the Project wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality; Non-Discrimination. The Project requires all prime contractors and subcontractors to agree not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religious creed, age, handicap, disability, or gender; EURc Recycled Materials. The Project requires all prime contractors and subcontractors to comply with Section 6002 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, 42 U.S.C. A 6962, and regulations set forth in 40 C.F.R. Part 247; and aEURc Steel Products Procurement. The Project requires all prime contractors and subcontractors to comply with the provisions of the Steel Products Procurement Act, March 3, 1978, P.L. 6, No.3, 73 P.S. 1881 et seq. Mandatory Bonds and Guarantees. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid will be required. Only bonds from companies licensed, to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be accepted and the bond shall so state the same. Bid surety checks and bid bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders after the awarding and signing of the Contract. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract; a Maintenance Bond in the amount of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total contract price, as well as a Certificate of Insurance. All bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with PA Code Title 67 Chapter 457 (Regulations Governing Pre-Qualification of Prospective Bidders), and PENNDOT Publication 408, Section 102, latest Edition to complete bridge construction, roadway construction, and traffic signal work. In addition, subcontractors must be PENNDOT pre-qualified if listed in the proposal or if they subsequently undertake the partial or total construction of one or more items of work. Proof of IMSA certification, Level I, must be established for all personnel who are anticipated to perform electrical work under this contract. The intended field supervisor, to be on-site during the performance of work under this contract, must establish proof of IMSA certification, Level II. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids, or take such action as it may deem in the best interest of the Borough and as may be permitted by law. Estimated budget is between $400,000 to $435,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
